Hello Lita fans, boy it's been a while since I've written a new edition of this column. Things were going kind of slow for a while storyline wise, but if you've been watching RAW these past few weeks you know things have certainly picked up for Lita! I'll begin this issue by recapping the last few weeks, then continue by giving my take on things.

It all began a few weeks ago on the April 19th edition of RAW. Lita was set to team up with Val Venis to take on the team of Gail Kim and Matt Hardy. Before the match could begin, however, Kane's entrance theme hit and the 'big red monster' made his way toward the ring. After attacking Val Venis he made his way towards Lita, who cowered and cried out in fear. Lita's ex-boyfriend Matt Hardy was still standing on the outside and after hesitating for a few seconds he tore off his jacket and jumped in the ring to try and save his former love. Unfortunately Kane ended up destroying Matt Hardy and left the ring grinning, leaving Lita scared and confused.

One week later on April 26th, Lita teamed up with women's champion Victoria to battle Molly Holly and Gail Kim. Lita picked up the win for her team after nailing Gail with a DDT. The celebration was cut short when Kane's pyro exploded and Kane made his way to the ring. He cornered Lita in the ring and began to stroke her face and sniff her neck. He was about to plant a kiss on her when she ducked and flew from the ring to the backstage area. Cameras continued to show her running backstage, where she ran into Matt Hardy. Matt attempted to calm her, telling her he had a match with Kane later that night and that he was going to make him pay for what he did to her. Lita was in Matt's arms when she let out a scream and took off. It was Kane who frightened her, and he continued to terrorize by once again beating Matt Hardy to the floor. Later, Matt limped his way down to the ring and was beat down by Kane when Lita entered the ring and attempted to plea for her former lovers' safety. Kane dropped Matt and cornered Lita the same way he had the week before. This time, however, Lita could not escape and he was successful in kissing Lita. Kane left the ring with a sadistic smile up on his face.

On the May 3rd episode of RAW, Matt Hardy was scheduled to be a guest on Chris Jericho's Higlight Reel. He told Jericho that he had made many mistakes and that he wanted a chance to rectify them. He then called Lita to the ring, but received no response. After continuing to call her, Lita then appeared on the TitanTron. She was visibly upset when she told Matt Hardy that she never loved him, that she had found someone else, and that he had to stay away from her. Matt Hardy was confused, until Lita suddenly said she couldn't do this - she then began to scream for help, telling him that she was in the basement. We then see that Lita has been tied to a chair after being kidnapped by Kane! After the commercial break we see Matt Hardy rescue Lita, who is very upset and seems confused. Matt Hardy asks Lita several times if Kane touched her before she finally screams out no. This is what I found to be very interesting. Why did it take so long for Lita to answer Matt? Did Kane touch her? It seemed like Lita really didn't want to answer Matt...strange.

Lita was at the refreshment table last week on RAW when Trish Stratus approached her. She apologized for the way things had been going down between the two of them as of late, and said that she was worried about how she was dealing with the Kane situation. She asked Lita how she was holding up and then let out screams that Kane was coming. Lita turned around in utter panic, resulting in laughter from Stratus - there was nobody there. Lita then attacked Trish, knocking her onto the table. She was soon pulled off by Matt Hardy.

Things really got intense when Lita accompanied Matt Hardy to the ring for his match against Val Venis. Before Venis could make his way to the ring, Kane appeared on the TitanTron once again, showing Val Venis laying on the floor after being beaten by Kane. He told Matt it was a message of what was coming to him, and then continued with a message for Lita. He said he has asked Lita a question the week before, and that she had exactly one more week to come up with her answer. He ended by menacingly stating that it better be the right one. Matt obviously didn't know what was going on, and was asking Lita what Kane was talking about. Lita put her head down and looked upset, once again not wanting to answer Matt. Along with Lita's answer, also scheduled to occur is a one on one match between Lita and Trish Stratus!

So - what do I think of all this? First of all, I am absolutely ecstatic that Lita is finally involved in a really great storyline. I absolutely love it! The only question is - where are things headed? There are several popular opionions circulating around the internet right now. The following are included:

-- Lita will pretend to agree with Kane's request and leave Matt in order to protect him from The Big Red Machine. It will look as if she has joined up with Kane until she finally turns on him and reunites with Matt.

-- Lita and Matt will continue to try and fight off Kane, until Jeff Hardy returns to RAW to help them and Team Extreme is reunited.

-- Lita will actually make a complete heel turn and unite with Kane, turning on Matt Hardy for what he did to her after her long awaited RAW return.

Either of these things occuring would certainly be a very interesting development in the world of our favorite red haired vixxen. I personally would love to see a combination of the first two predictions, with her trying to protect the love of her life until Jeff Hardy returns to help her seek revenge on Kane. Team Extreme is my all time favorite wrestling group and nothing would please me more than to see them reunite. Please please please let this happen!!! LOL...

Regardless of what happens, the next few weeks of RAW are definitely going to be very very exciting! I cannot wait to tune in for every episode and watch this awesome storyline develop!
