ABOUT ME

Hi!

My name is Slawek, I live in Poznan in Poland, where I work for an Internet company. My love of birds grew in my early teens when I got my first book about them.

I have been involved in serious birding since approximately the spring of 1994, and I learn new things every day.

I enjoy birding in many different geographical settings, observing all different kinds of birds, and keeping lists of the birds I see.

I also have other interests: foreign languages, dogs, running, but these take second place to my girlfriend, my job and my birding!

The primary objective of this website is to provide information about birds and birding in Poland.

I also designed weekly quiz which is to improve ID skills so called "confusion" birds - those birds that can be easily mistaken for another species.

I'd love to hear from you if you have any thoughts, feedback or suggestions, or wish to meet me.
