Sootopolis City

Sootopolis City was formed with a volcanic eruption. The crater of the volcano filled with rainwater and that formed the small lake in Sootopolis. The entrance to Sootopolis is underwater. It is required to Dive to enter this City.

Cave Of Origin

Once the legendary pokémon was awoken, it came to this cave. A trainer with an orb went into the depths of the cave to challenge it and bring a stop to the disaster it was causing.
The legendary pokémon on the loose caused the inhabitants of Sootopolis to lock themselves up inside their houses.

Pokémon Gym

Wallace, the gym leader here, uses water type pokémon.

His gym has many thin ice tiles that when stepped on a second time will crack and let the challenger fall through to the basement floor, where the gym trainers await him / her. To advance in his gym, the challenger will have to crack all the thin ice tiles. This will activate a staircase, which will lead the challenger closer to the gym leader.
