Devon Corporation

Devon Corporation is the leading inventor of pokémon products. They invented the Pokénav, the running shoes, and fabricate all the products sold at the pokémarts in Hoenn.

Steven left his father to join the Elite Four in Evergrande City. Steven has also spent some time in Granite Cave looking for some rare stones. Mr. Stone, the president of Devon (Short for Devon Corp.) commissioned a trainer to deliver him a letter, and then rewarded this trainer for doing it.

Devon created two new types of pokéballs in late 2003.
The Repeat Ball and the Timer Ball.

A scientist at Devon has a newer version of the old Pokémon Resurrector originally found in Cinnabar City. This machine can bring fossilized pokémon back to life.

Cutter's House

In the western part of the city, the cutter's house is located. He will give those trainers who he think deserve it the HM Cut.
The cutter helped in the expansion of Rustboro City by having his pokémon cut down trees that blocked the way of the city's expansion.

At the Pokémon Trainer's School, students learn a lot to become accomplished trainers. The teacher is very strict, though. He will strike anyone who is not working with his Quick Claw.

Pokémon Gym

Roxanne, the Rustboro Gym Leader, likes to use rock-type pokémon. She graduated from the Pokémon Trainer's School in this city and has become a hard-to-beat trainer.

Her gym simple enough, except for some side-walls that permit a challenger to reach the leader without facing her underlings.
