To Run

She ignores
And gives blank stares
She doesn’t care
She wants to leave
Go far away
Away from everything
Familiar and everything
That hurts her
She wants to run away
Have the wind
Stream across her face
Have it burn
Have her legs burn
Scream, and ache
She wants to feel pain
Take her mind off of
The pain she feels in
Her heart
The constant pain that
Wont stop or ease
To run away
Not to think, to run
To leave and to hide
From all that’s inside
