Again and again
My thoughts return to you
I pulled away
Immediately regretted it
You turned away
Without another look
I hung my head
Felt a tear drip
Walked away
Did I have to choose?

I see you day to day
The feelings return
But you don’t
My fears and loneliness
I hide it all inside
As you walk by
With a smile for someone else
Why cant you be with me
I say to myself
Why did I have to loose?
