Who needs an introduction to Sally? If you have ever been to Smalltown, you have already heard Sally's life story. She is the talk of the town, soul of society, county's cutiest chick, and whatever else you want to say. If you are from Smalltown, Sally Sandpiper is the most beautiful person in the whole world. She's also the richest.
Sandpiper Street, which is practically Main Street, is home to the Sandpipers, decendants of the renowned H.I. Sandpiper, FOUNDER of Smalltown. To be a Sandpiper in Smalltown is to have whatever in the world you want. And the Sandpipers are not just rich for Smalltown; they would be considered well-off wherever in the world you place them. They have the biggest house in the town (which is the location of most of the town meetings because the town hall is too small and run down) and all of the most modern stuff.
Have I mentioned that Sally is the most beautiful person in the world? She also knows it. She knows that she could get whatever and whoever she wants, just by using a little subtle body language. And she is also the most prideful person Smalltown has ever seen...but no one calls her down for it because she's a Sandpiper.
What will the story of Smalltown be in the eyes of Sally? I don't know. That's for you to decide. If you take it like she does, Smalltown is just another hurdle on her way to the Big Town and the Big Life. But if you look beyond her view of the town as being annoyingly quaint and simple, you will find a town full of vigorous life and passion. And believe me when I say that Sally is at the center of most of that passion.
