Stone

Mr. Stone, the dedicated watcher
Of the noise-makers.
He is compelled to wait for silence.

And then he distributes intelligence to the bucket-hitters.
Returning to his high pulpit
He scribes the now needed edits.
A musicless Regina receives a question from Stone
To which he has no definite reply.

Then the disputable one, Everett
Approaches his high throne.
But Mr. Stone's annoyance of him
Is too strong to bring about the wanted reply.

Stone stands in awe of his wondrous students
Contemplating what he should do next.
Suddenly words explode from his mouth,
Directed toward the players of the
Three foot black things with holes.

Rhythm is a friend to the honorable Stone
And so he dictates to his followers:
"Da doo dat dat doo da doo dat."

To conclude the endless period
Stone puts forth these words from the hole directly benieth his nose:
"Do the hanky-panky!"
