Since I was in college...many years ago. :-)
4. What inspired you to first start writing poetry?
My imagination...it created an outlet for me.
5. Comments about this poem:
My dad passed away almost 5 years ago. He is always with me, and it tells the story of his and my mom's 50+ years of togetherness. We're not meant to be alone and we want to be remembered.
6. Have you had any professional work or have had any poetry published?
This particular poem was a finalist in the Fall Poetry.com contest. It will be published in June this year in a Poetry Anthology.
7. Other comments:
Poetry is a wonderful form of expression. I hope my imagination will serve me in the future in creating more memorable pieces.
