It is a regular occurance that the 'underdogs' will come out on top. The creators of POE saw this opportuinty and gap and filled it! POE helps to guide and give support to up and coming talent in the fields of film, music and comedy. POE Films gives inspiring film makers the chance for creative outlet whilst also taking on actors. POE Films has already had success with 2 films; Dooms Day and Barry's Backyard, and the cancellation of POEs film: O2D. The fun for all involved with POE never stops, with a new production I Once was a Warrior, which it and it's sequel will be relesed later in the year, starring new POE talent Travis. | !!!2003: A year of mammoth proportion!!! POE started strongly in 2003 with POE Records continuing to relaese hit song after hit song. It was the year that saw KL & G!en team up to record many duets including Chocolate Topping and Elf. The biggest hit was POE new commer Denise, who first featured on the song TITanick and later with KL on The Power of Cheese. In December 2003 Denise released her debut album 'Stick it in... then hear me moan' which has now become the biggest POE record yet. Denise's success lead to her filming her own movie/ documentary titled 'I once was a warrior: Denise me up... then down me' due for release 2004. The 'Warrior' concept will now become a series with Warrior 2 expected later in the year! !!!2002: How the year shaped up!!! It was the year when POE was launched on the web and the first year when POE branched off into new sectors (ie. Records, films) giving POE the opportunity to scout out new talent and expose them to the world! So heres a quick run down of POE 2002 successes: Films - The year started strong with POE branching off into new sectors. The first of these sectors to release something to the world was through POE Films. The debut movie was titled 'Dooms Day' (April 02), a small production the lodged POE Films in peoples heads and on the market. This lead to a huge amount of support for POEs 2nd film. Barry's Backyard (Nov 02), was a smash hit and seen by hundreds of people. BB really gave POE / POE Films recognition. To find out more about what POE Films has in stall go to the FILMS link. Records - Started up the same time as POE Films, the Record sector had a slower start as at its launch time, POE had to find talent to sign. It wasn't hard to find excellence in the fields of audio recording with POE Records signing comedy and musical acts such as KL, G!en and Larry Tork and Chaify Titz. The years first (hard copy) release didn't arrive until August with G!ens 'Live @ the: UnderRoom,' followed in October with the KL & G!en's duet on 'Hey! Happy Birthday'. These were soon followed by Larry 'n' Chaifys 'Miss Worlds' CD, KLs debut single 'Wicked Party' and a novelty Xmas song by KL featuring G!en in December!!!
