Well I go to a school named Merlo Station. It is a nice school. The environment is much better than that from some of the major schools. Merlo is not a private school, it is a magnet school. Most people get confused by are school, since it is smaller than most. In are school there are many different programs. The one I'm in is NRST (Natural Resources Science and Tech.) it is focused around computers where just about every class tries to incorporate computers into there learning. The program is nice since you know everyone in there, where they are all your friends. Plus you are good friends with the teachers at the end of the year from being with them for 4 years. The school has grown a lot since I have been there, but it has still kept the environment of the students. Though like I said before, since everyone know everyone else, the rumors and secrets of people are spread quickly and everyone knows. So that sort of sucks, but I still seem to like it and I don't think I will want to leave. The only problem we have right now, (which is sort of funny) is the ratio is 1/5 girls and 4/5 guys. So it would be the perfect place for a girl to go to high school to get a boyfriend, though "most" (friend wanted me to put quotes around that) of us are nerds so no one will ask anyone else. Oh well. That's life. |
