SSVM Judo camp inaugurated
Shree Samartha Vyayam Mandir, on his 75th anniversary started it's 12th Samartha Judo Camp. The famous actor Shree Razak Khan, well known for his role in Mahabharat serial as Ghatotkach inaugurated the camp. He acted in many top serials & movies in his career like Junoon, Andaz Apna Apna, Chandramukhi, Alif Laila, Ghulam, Jung, and many more. In his speech he appreciated work of Institution and promised that he will introduce Institution to other celebrities of the Film Industry.
On this occasion National and State level players of Institution - Nikhil Kulkarni, Ketan Sawant, Vikrant Puranik, Abhishek Phulsunder and Niket Jambhekar demonstrated various break fall, rolls, throwing techniques, self-defense techniques and basic Judo theory.
Shree Samartha's National and International sportsmen also gave the splendid display of Traditional Indian Physical Culture. Yogasana by Mrs. Neeta Tatke (Jal Deepasana), Mallakhamb by Aditya Sahastrabudhe and Rope Mallakhamb by Nikita Vedak and Mamata Oak received great applause by the spectators & more than 100 campers.
