Plot
Affiliations:
X-Men . The X-Men are led by Charles Xavier, a telepathic mutant who believes that in time mutants and humans will be able to co-exist peacefully. His followers are trained to control their powers and protect the masses against those mutants who would seek to destroy them.
Acolytes . The Acolytes are led by Magento, a strong mutant with control over metals. He believes that mutants are destined to rule the world and will do just about anything to destroy the human race.
Brotherhood . The Brotherhood is led by Magneto's one-time partner Mystique. She also believes in mutant supremacy, but her followers are much less organized than either the X-Men or the Acolytes. The Brotherhood members are more trouble makers than they are serious about taking over the world.
Sisterhood . The Sisterhood (created for this RPG) is led by Lady Psycho. Sisterhood members, who are obviously all women, believe not only that mutants should be supreme, but that women should be in charge of the world. In their eyes, men are lesser beginnings unfit to be in control.
Independent . The independent mutants are mutants living in the Bayville area with no affiliation. They believe various things and may at times team up with other groups, but have never officially joined anyone's side.
Story . The story-line is very loosely base on the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix sagas. The key word is, of course, very. That means that what happens during, between, and after is totally and completely up to the players of this RPG.
The RPG will open with the first day back at Bayville High during Jean and Scott's senior year. X-Men, Brotherhood, and Acolyte members may have been on summer vacation, visiting families, or have stayed in Bayville. That is, again, up to the players. All summer, Jean Grey, who stayed at the mansion with Charles Xavier, has been having horrible headaches and, at times, passing out. Her powers have been slowly but surely growing stronger.
A week earlier, a new mutant group made it's appearance in Bayville. They call themselves the Sisterhood, but as to why they are there and what they want, that will be revealed later. Their appearance is slightly startling because of the lull in mutant activity the summer saw. But the new school year is sure to bring back old and new faces, some friendly, others not.
