| Next to the walls of the Kremlin lies the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. In memory to the soldiers that fought of the Germans in World War II just outside Moscow, and created a turningpoint in the WWII. Every hour there's a change of guard, who has to stand an hour long next to the 'eternal flame' (not on the picture). |

| Everytime when there's a news-report from Moscow, it is most likely that the reporter will stand in front of this very famous cathedral. St. Basil's is its name and it is known for the variety of colours of its 7 domes. Legend goes that Ivan the Terrible had the eyes removed of the Italian architect that build it, so he could never again recreate something this magnificent. I guess, Ivan didn't really know the word "gratitude"... |
