| PMF 5-Minute Film Competition is about getting filmmakers to make films more often and getting those films shown. PMF is a monthly film competition with a different theme each month. Filmmakers have to write, shoot, and edit their film in one month and get them screened at a real movie theater. All the films are 5 minutes and are made by some of the brightest up and coming filmmakers in New Mexico. |

| Dear PMF filmmakers and audience, It is with some regret that we must inform you that the PMF 5-Minute Film Competition is indefinitely closing its doors. Eternal thanks to everyone who participated as filmmakers and to those who came and watched these cool local films at the festival. We enjoyed the ride, but quite honestly, we just got burned out. Putting on a film festival every month is almost as intense as making a movie every month, and it's time for a break for a while. How long is a while? We don't know, really. We've had a lot of fun putting on the film festival, and we've gotten to meet a lot of great folks along the way. We look forward to seeing many of you in other capacities in this little universe we exist in. Thanks Again, Tom Szymanski PMF |
| To say more of the same, thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that has supported us in any way. Thank you to all the filmmakers that put their blood, sweat, and tears (but mostly blood, I know.) into the films they made for our competition. Thank you to the families of the filmmakers, (yes you too!) for putting up with the filmmakers. It can be tough. Thank you to all of our sponsors, and special thanks to everyone at the former Madstone, Keif and Peter at the Guild, and Narissa at BigByte.cc. Last but certainly not least, thank you to all the audience members we've had. Thank you for supporting independent film, the independent theaters, and most importantly, our local filmmakers.
