Back Application of the week: WEEK 1 : ............CyOS XP (4Cybiko.com) WEEK 2 : .......................CyWin (cybla.com) The choice for Week 1 was pretty easy, since it was a huge thing at the time (and still is now). It has a password protect, and you can have different screen names! It has a mouse, which you use with the directional (D) Pad, which can have a tail. You can run any program from there, and can minimize the program screen. It works like the real thing, to! Simple yet cool (not to mention small - only 17 KB [around that, anyway] ) That is why I must give CyOS XP: OVERALL RATING : 10 10 10 ***ANOTHER PLATINUM AWARD!!!** ... ... ... Week 2 was actually REALLY simple. CyWin is the most mind-blowing app out there. Here's what it lets you do: Through Cywig, you can access the internet! With a CybikoXtreme, you can go up to two (2) miles away from the source! All of the sites are text-based, though. Even if the site had mainly pictures (like nick.com), the Cybiko finds any text in the site, searches for hyperlinks, and organizes it in that way! What a cool app, huh? It does all of the organizing for you! The all-text site thing takes the value of the app away (but it's still a killer app that gets you online!), which is why I must give CyWin the following score: OVERALL RATINGS : 9.5 9.5 9.5 ++++ANOTHER GOLD RATING!!!+++++ ... ... ... <><><><><Our Grading System<><><><>< We here at Cys Newsletter grade a game based on the following criteria: Sound/Music : 1.................5...............10 Gameplay : 1.................5...............10 Overall Impression : 1........5........10 If the scores average out to be between 8 and 8.5, that game gets a Silver Rating Award, and goes into the hall of fame in that section (Silver). If the scores average out to be between 9 and 9.5, that game gets a Gold Rating Award, and goes into the hall of fame in that section (Gold). If the scores average out to be exactly 10, it receives the rarest score a game can get: a Platinum Rating Award. This is our assurance that the game you are thinking of getting on your Cybiko is the best out there - the cream of the crop. Get it while it's hot! It also goes into the Hall of Fame, but in the Hall of Greatness. We rate apps in the same way as above, except for the criteria, which goes as follows: Usefullness :1.................5.................10 Appeal : 1.................5.................10 Overall Impression: 1.........5.........10 Note: All of the games listed were played on a CybikoXtreme, since my Classic crashed. The games were transported from a Classic Cybiko to the Xtreme one, so the games were slightly glitchy. DO NOT PLAY A GAME PORTED FROM A CLASSIC TO AN XTREME, UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX THE GLITCHES.
