1) The first question we got wrong was from Quiz 2, question 6

 

The question was what is the critical path for a project.


Our answer was C) the path that determines the longest amount of time needed to complete a project


The correct answer is E.  Our answer is wrong because the critical path is the shortest amount of time needed to complete a project.

Answer E) none of the above

 

2) The second question we got wrong was from Quiz 3, question 2

 

The question was if the BCWP for a Project is $10,000, the BCWS is $8,000, the ACWP is $11,00, and the BAC is $100,000, how is the project doing.

 

Our answer was E) There is not enough information to answer this question.

 

The correct answer is C, this is because if you divide the BCWP by the ACWP you find that the answer is less then one, so the project is over budget.  If you take the BCWP and divide it by the BCWS you find that the answer is greater then one, so the project is ahead of schedule.

Answer C)  It is ahead of schedcule and over budget.

 

3) The third question we got wrong was from Quiz 3, question 4

 

The question was which quality expert is best know for suggesting that organizations strive for zero defects.


Our answer was A) Deming

 

The correct answer is C.  Our answer was incorrect because Deming strove for quality control systems during World War II.  Crosby wrote "Quality is Free" in 1979 and is best know for suggesting that organizations strive for zero defects.

Answer C) Crosby

 

4) The forth question we got wrong was from Quiz 3, question 5

 

The question is which of the following is not a motivation factor, according to Herzberg?

 

Our answer was E) none of the above.


The correct answer was C.  Herzberg argued that people want to actualize themselves.  They need stimuli for their growth and advancement needs.  Factors such as achievement, recognition, responsibility, advancement, and growth produce job satisfaction and are work motivators.  Money is not included on this list.
