Bring an article for our newsletter, your kazoo & ideas for future Thursdays!
First of all...since we all forgot to pitch in for the craft supplies last time, Duchess Doodle 'de Do has requested that we all bring $1 donation for one of the Christmas charities. Thank you, Doodles!
Second...we will do an ornament exchange. We will each bring one ornament and I'll figure out a fun way to distribute them!
Third & most yummy...as agreed at the November gathering, we will participate in a cookie exchange with The Red Hat Brats, who will join us for this festive night! We will each bring 2 dozen cookies, some to eat, and some to share. Bring an extra plate, so you can take home a dozen cookies from all of those we bring! Of course, we will be tasting some of them, just to make sure they are fit to be dispersed about the Queendom!
**It would be a good idea to label the cookies, so those who have special dietary concerns will know what ingredients are in them, such as sugar-free, made with Splenda, nuts, chocolate, etc.)
Last, but not least...Millie is arranging for a guest speaker who will spend a little time telling us about her interesting life.
With all of this going on, I think we will dispense with the door prize this time. (Lady Gypsy Rose, who won the last prize, can bring the door prize for January instead.)
Also, don't forget to remind those Counts that they can join Sir Walter (Count Noah Count) at Golden Corral at 5:30pm on the same night. The guys that have been going say they have a great time and have found they have a lot to talk about! (We probably don't want to know, do we?)
See you on the 8th! As always, please RSVP to Queen Mum Pat so I can make sure we have enough chairs set up! Anyone who needs a ride for any reason, please let me know so we can arrange one for you! Anyone willing to pick up a sister, please tell me. Let's not let this keep us from having fun together! Thank you!

Red and Green Christmas Luncheon
at the home of Kathryn D -
No gift or cookie exchange--let's make it easy and just have fun. If possible maybe Wilma will bring her instruments and the Jug Band will play a few numbers.
I will have a beautiful tree and we could take individual pictures of the ladies by the tree and give them copies.
We'll have a Christmas story, nice food (I'll make the main dish, dessert and drinks) and the ladies can fill in the rest.
