  They are responsible for WALK ON. Enough said.
• #2 David Gray
  White Ladder has to be one of the best CDs ever released, and David Gray one of the best singers. The songs are wonderful, the singing is gorgeous, and you can listen to it again and again (and again) and still enjoy it.
• #3 Live
  An *awesome* band.
• #4 Coldplay
  Their first album, Parachutes is wonderful, despite its length. My favourite Coldplay song is 'Brothers and Sisters,' a wonderful, melancholy song.
• #5 Zed
  A local group that can easily compete with overseas acts. They are very, very good, and that's not a biased opinion!

Epic...ish Songs
No! Not the Lite FM epic- I mean the good sort!

• #1 'I Learned From The Best' by Whitney Houston
  Stop mocking me! I really like this song! *sulks*
• #2 'Turn' by Travis
  Not very epic... but close enough.
• #3 'The Search is Over' by Survivor
  Great song. Again, it isn't epic in the Lite FM sense- but it's still epic enough for me.
• #4 'I Shall Believe' by Sheryl Crow
  A very long song, but a very good one. (In moderation)
• #5 'Burning Heart' by Survivor
  Classic 80s song. Aaah it's great.

Most Irritating Songs
Please, I'm not asking for trouble- this is just my personal opinion.

• #1 'Follow Me' by Uncle Kracker
  *throws up* This song never fails to make me angry. I HATE it.
• #2 'Underneath Your Clothes' by Shakira
  Nooooooo!!!
• #3 'Believe' by Cher
  Ghastly. *shudder*
• #4 'Adrian' by Jewel
  What an epic. (The not-so-good sort!) *groan*
• #5 'Tubthumping' by Chumbawumba
  I repeat- Nooooooo!!!!!

Yes, strangely enough, I DO have favourite songs NOT by U2! My favourite 'epic' songs aren't on this list either- they deserve a category of their own.

  So subtle, so beautiful.
• #2 'Simple Creed' by Live
  Loud and exciting.
• #3 'Adia' by Sarah McLachlan
  Also a very subtle song.
• #4 'Fire and Rain' by James Taylor
  A beautiful song.... very simple.
• #5 'This Year's Love' by David Gray
  Incredibly beautiful.
• #6 'Aeroplane' by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
  Very funny, but also very good.
• #7 'Walking After You' by the Foo Fighters
  Very pretty song
• #8 'This is Where I Came In' by The Bee Gees
  Huuuur.. falsettos!!
• #9 'Gravity of Love' by Enigma
  Very, very cool song.
• #10 'Join Me' by HIM
  A very powerful song. I'm quite surprised I like it!
• #11 'Daysleeper' by R.E.M.
  A gem on one of their least popular albums, Up.
• #12 'I'm Cold' by Zed
  This band comes from Christchurch? Amazing!!
• #13 'Jack and Jill' by Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio
  This song has the most hilarious lyrics I've heard anywhere. Strongly recommended.
• #14 'St Clare' by Suzanne Vega
  A very generic song, but I love it.
• #15 'Gutters Full of Rain' by David Gray
  Probably the best song on his album 'Sell Sell Sell.'

U2 songs
These are some of my favourite U2 songs, in no particular order

• WALK ON!!!!!
  Aaaahhh! This is the song I listen to before maths tests, as I fall asleep, as I ride on the bus everyday, as I 'study,' as I procrastinate..... and this is the only song that I can listen to more than two hundred times, and still not grow sick of.
