The King's Dominion campground in Richmond, Virginia was one of the better campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites were all very spacious with concrete pads to set the camper on and the campgound had lots of trees. The only downfall of the campground was the amount of water on the sites but it was very rainy and wet when we went. The park had new bathrooms that were all very nice and clean. The showers were fairly new and plenty of hot water. The park had a very nice pool and playground for the kids and a shuttle bus to King's Dominion park. The sites were not cheap but it was a very nice park and they were very willing to accomodate us for anything we asked for. I would highly recommend staying at this campground if you have plans to go to Kings Dominion amusement park.
