 Alright, here is the story, here's how this whole mess got started. Please keep in mind though many names have been changed to protect these poor, poor souls. Alright, back in the summer of 2001, I was getting bored with my grunge-metal band "Marker 14" so I started playing in a band with my good friends Communist Josh (who isn't really a communist) and "Nazi Douglas". Together we wrote "Dance Around the Christmas Tree" and "Josh is Singing." Then without warning, "Marker 14" broke up, and "Nazi Douglas" was kicked in the face. Then the bassist from "Marker 14", "Craig" joined to play the part of the bass guitarist as Josh started singing. A few months later K-Funk joined the band to play trumpet and keys, and add a bit more of a ska feeling. But the band sucked horribly. Than came a new bassist, lets call him, "John." Well things with "John" just didn't work out, so "Nazi Douglas" was in the band once more, but that didn't work because he still threw hissy fits. Alright now with three bassists down, we than tried out "Jimmy," "Timmy," "Buddy," "Drew," "Nigel," and "Pete" but they were all trouble. So it was decided that bassists are nothing but trouble and Green House Monkeys would be better off as a 3-piece ska outfit. Later on, when that didn't work, a new member was recruited, not a troublesome bassist, but K-Funk's little brother William. William came along and played the guitar and some trombone, and so the fun began once more, and they lived happily ever after... ~xSETHx |
