| These fish are not big. If you get one close to a pound you're doing good. They are a hard fighting fish, easy and very fun to catch. It make them a great "training" fish for kids or to sharpen your fishing skills. They live in all kinds of lakes ponds and streams. You can catch them using just about any rig you can think of from cane poles to dry flies. They eat just about anything they can get in their mouths. But generally the best baits are worms or crickets. Flashy spinner baits small jigs work good too. |
| They like rocky areas, blown down trees, brush, creek beds, any where there is cover. Not too much else to say about these fish, ... just do it! They are tons of fun! |
