Found Glory: S/T
Released 9-26-99 MCA Records This CD is great. It has all the old things you loved about New Found Glory and new and improved areas. The lead vocalist, Jordan Pundik, has enhanced his voice a lot since their last album. Although this album has a lot more Pop in the Pop/Punk, it is a benefit for the band. This means cleaner riffs, vocals and catchier melodies. A few songs almost sound like the N'Sync type with power chords and heavy drumming but they are still listenable. "All About Her" is a great song with a driving rhythm while "Boy Crazy" is a love song warning boys to watch out for beautiful girls. Their remake of "Hit or Miss" is a bit better but not much was done except the addition of a few more harmonies. Pick up this CD if you enjoy New Found Glory or Pop/Punk. RATING: 9.3 (out of 10) |
