Church Officers and Staff All church officers must be members of the church. The officers of this church shall be as follows... Section VI. Treasurer: 1. A church treasurer shall be elected annually. He/she shall be nominated by the nominating committee and elected by the church. 2. It shall be the duty of the treasurer of financial secretary to sign all church checks which have been approved by authorized personnel. 3. The treasurer shall maintain copies of all checks, vouchers and financial statemetns of the church. 4. It shall be the duty of the treasurer to render to the church each month an itemized report of the receipts and disbursements. 5. The treasurer's report shall be audited annually by the finance committee or certified accountant. 6. The treasurer shall render an annual report of receipts and disbursements to the clerk as is necessary for the annual church letter. 7. The treasurer shall maintain records for any member that requests them and present to then annually a form that is acceptable to the Internal REvenue Service for their church contributions. 8. The treasurer shall deliver annually to the clerk the records that will be kept and preserved as part of the permanent records of the church. 9. At a time when it is deemed necessary some of the duties shall be delegated to a financial secretary. Section VII. Trustees SECTION NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME Section VIII. Secretary 1. A secretary shall be elected annually. He'she be nominated be the nominating committee and elected by the church. 2. The secretary shall be present at all business conferences, and special called conferences to record the minutes. 3. To present to the business conferences the minutes of the proceeding conferences. 4. The secretary to deliver to the clerk annually the minutes that will be kept and preserved as a permanent record of the church. |
