Matrix Operations

Everyone remembers how much fun matrices were in Algebra II.  Well, they're back!  Glad you learned that stuff, aren't ya?  Seeing as you enjoyed Matrices soooo much in Algebra II, Mr. Ford made this section the independant study unit this year.  HAHAHA!!!  In this section, you will learn how to find the sum, difference and scalar multiples of matrices.  You will also learn to find the product of two matrices, how to find the inverse of a 2x2 matrix and to solve linear systems using matrices.  The best part is that you don't really learn any equations.  This stuff is straightforward addition, subtraction, and/or multiplication.  To make up for the lack of equations, there are plenty of Properties.  The hardest part of this section is making the inverses.  For any matrix greater than 2x2 that you have to find the inverse for, you get to use your calculator.  One section left to study!
