Graphs; Maximums and Minimums
In this section, you will create some
pretty interesting graphs. You will be taught how to graph cubic
(3rd degree), quartic (4th degree), and quintic (5th degree) equations.
Also, you will learn how to maximize your space with a limited amount
of materials (in case you are trying to build the biggest fence you can
with only 60 metres of material) or you are trying to minimize your operating
expenses. Very useful for the real world. You will learn how
to use technology for your benefit. No it won't do your homework
for you, but it will make finding the answer to a cube or higher degree
equation. The last thing you will learn in this section is how to
solve polynomial equations by factoring. Pretty simple once you
get the hang of it. There is another section on general rules for
polynomial equations. |
