Metal
Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
 |
Finally,
Snake is back! This demo is magnificent on
all counts! The improved gameplay and
graphics of Metal Gear Solid 3 makes this game ultimately
the best in the series! Plus the demo is
huge, with nearly 2 hours of gameplay contained
with no demo timeouts! The demo starts
with the entire video prologue to the game, and
then features the beginning levels in the
forest, swamp and around a building! This
really could be the best demo of 2005! |
|
Full
Spectrum Warrior
 |
Full
Spectrum Warrior is a very impressive military
command and control game! In this game,
you control 2 4-man combat teams as they sweep
through an urban battle scene taking out
insurgents and providing ground support.
This demo has a multitude of levels to try, with
5 training levels and 2 combat levels
contained. Gear up soldier! |
|
Death
by Degrees
 |
The
Nina character from the Tekken series get her
own game and this is a third person action
adventure! The game certainly has
impressive presentation and the 360 degree style
fighting is controlled through the analog sticks
(very similar to Rise to Honor controls.)
However, it becomes monotonous quickly, and the
long-term gameplay is simply not there.
This demo allows you to control Nina through an
initial fighting stage, than a sniper stage! |
|
King
of Fighters: Maximum Impact
 |
This
is the 10 year anniversary edition of King of
Fighters and for those not familiar with King of
Fighters, this is a old-skool 2D fighting game!
This game perfectly reproduces the old arcade
fighting games of 10 years ago. However,
today it looks basic compared to modern
fighters! This demo provides 3 characters
to battle with! |
|
Megaman
X8
 |
Megaman
is one of the oldest platform-shooter franchises
around, and this update is a cool 2D game!
It has heaps of action, character swaps,
power-ups, level design and brilliantly
colourful backdrops! This demo contains
the jungle section to test your blasting
skills! The robot bosses in this are just
huge!! |
|
Legend
of Kay
 |
Legend
of Kay is a good platformer that looks and plays
very similar to the original Jak! If it
had been released 3 years ago it would have been
very impressive, but nowdays it just does not
have the "wow" factor! This demo
contains the beginning tutorial level to the
game. |
|
Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles 2
 |
The
heroes in a half-shell are back in this
cartoon-style action adventure game! The
gameplay in this demo is pretty simplistic and
definitely aimed more at the junior
gamers! While it is still fun, older
gamers will become bored with this quickly! This
is one more for the kids! |
|
Ace
Combat 5: Squadron Leader
 |
This
is the same demo as featured on Demo 56, and Ace
Combat 5 is by far the best jet fighter game on
the PS2! The graphics are superb, the
action is frantic and it has a host of jets
to fly! This demo is impressive with 3
different sections to fly missions on! |

EyeToy

 |
Wow!
This would have to be one of the best demos ever
released! This is the full EyeToy Chat
progam limited to 100 hours usage! EyeToy
Chat Light allows you to make video phonecalls
to other PS2 users! To use this program,
you need to have a PS2 with a network adaptor
and EyeToy cam. This demo also includes
the ability to send and receive video mail, and
to play games like chess and checkers with
friends online! This demo is very cool!!! |

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
 |
TimeSplitters:
Future Perfect is undoubtedly one of the best FPS on the
PS2!! The already brilliant TimeSplitters
2 has been completely overhauled, and this game has
stunning graphics, frantic action and more
weaponry! This game will give all other
first-person-shooters a run for it's money, plus
the online mode will be fantastic! This demo contains the beginning
section of Level 1 to try out! |
|
Ace
Combat 5: Squadron Leader
 |
Fans
of the Ace Combat series will not be
disappointed as Ace Combat 5 returns with superb
gameplay, more fighter planes and a new wingman
feature! The Ace Combat series is really
the best jet fighter games on the PS2, and Ace
Combat 5 continues to push the boundaries!
This demo contains 4 different stages to test
your aerial dogfight skills on! |
|
Metal
Slug 3
 |
Metal
Slug 3 is a return to the 2-dimensional
shoot-em-up scrollers of yesteryear! It has
everything needed for a brilliant
shoot-em-up! Great weapons with huge
powerups, heaps of gorgeous landscapes, and of
course crazy enemies constantly after you!
This demo contains the whole first level to
blast through! |
|
Nanobreaker
 |
Nanobreaker
is a 'hack and slash' game that unfortunately
becomes repetitive very quickly! While it
has some great combo moves and solid atmosphere,
it has a 'seen it all before' feel with nothing
new. Best to wait for Devil May Cry 3
compared to this! This demo gives you an
entire level to hack and slash through! |
|
Prince
of Persia 2
 |
This
Prince of Persia 2 demo is the same demo as
contained on Demo 54 - and this game is really
worth checking out if you have not already
played it! It contains some of the best
fighting moves seen on the PS2 and has a
fantastically dark atmosphere! |
|
Transformers
 |
The
Transformers demo is the same demo as contained
on Demo 46, and it is still a good solid
game! It is a third-person shooter with
the ability to transform to the alter ego of the
selected robot. Check this out if you have
not already played Transformers! |
|
Moto
GP3
 |
Now
we are really getting old! Moto GP3 was
originally released on Demo 33 back in May
2003! It is still one of the better
motorbike racing games on the PS2 and if you
really like it, you should be able to pick up
the game on Platinum now. |
|
Athens
2004
 |
This
is a shocker! Athens 2004 is the button
bashing game released for the Athens 2004
Olympic games! This demo was originally
released on Demo 48 and it was bad even
then! Avoid this at all costs! |

Mercenaries
 |
This
is a great free-roaming 3rd person action game
in the same vein as GTA but set in a warzone!
This demo is huge and provides an entire mission
set in North Korea - and with no demo timeout! |
|
Rumble
Roses
 |
Considering
all of the wrestling games on the market,
something different had to come along, and
Rumble Roses gives you the girls to wrestle
with! This demo includes both the
traditional wrestling ring and a mud wrestling
pit as beauty meets brawn! |
|
Mashed
 |
This
is a whole new level for Mashed, not even
included in the full game that was
released! If you have not seen this
top-down racer, check it out as it pretty
addictive with a group of people! |
|
Burnout
3
 |
This
is the same demo as from Demo 50 - Definitely
the wildest and fastest racing game through
traffic and this game is exhilarating! The
demo has a 1 lap race to test out your driving
and slamming skills! Buckle up for this
one! |
|
Killzone
 |
This
is the same demo as from Demo 52 - The
highly anticipated Killzone is finally here and
this demo shows how gritty & realistic this
FPS really is! Detailed graphics, a huge
wall of sound and solid enemy AI, makes this one
of the premier FPS on the PS2! This demo
contains the slum level and is timed for 7
minutes! |
|
Splinter
Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
 |
This
is the same demo as from Demo 49 - Sam
Fisher is back in this stealth action 3rd person
adventure game! This game plays well and
is a reasonable update to the original. This demo has a training level
to start on and then a village mission level
after that. |
|
Pro
Evolution Soccer 4
 |
This
is the same demo as from Demo 52 - The
PS2's best soccer game just got better &
PES4 is beyond superlatives! This game has
it all - improved animations, more moves,
smarter teamwork and fun by the bucketloads!
This demo is timed for 5 minutes and allows up
to 8 players to play as either England, Spain,
