Qualifications
Design: Able to render using various mediums including marker, pastels, air brush, pencil, pen and computer.
Computer Literacy: Familiar with both PC and Macintosh. Knowledgeable in 3D StudioMAX, AutoCAD 13, Adobe PhotoShop, QuarkXpress, MacDraft, and various word processing, paint and photo programs.
Shop Experience: Working knowledge of shop tools including table saw, dremmel, lathe, milling machine, drill press, and various sanding equipment.
Materials: Skilled in the use of acrylic, styrene, foam core sheets, corrugated paper and board, correx sheets, fiberglass, vacuum forming, automotive body filler, and sculpting in clay and wax.
Advanced Prototyping and Special Effects: Trained in cable-controlled special effects creatures, prosthetics and foam latex masks using the process of life casting, sculpting, mold making, and foam latex production.
Casting: Skilled in the process of mold making using RTV and plaster.
Animation Production: Knowledgeable in cel animation, stop-motion animation, claymation, and computer animation using 3D StudioMAX.
Film Production: Trained in the use of 35mm cameras, Bollex 16mm film cameras, light meters, MX 50, par boards, editing suites and storyboard artistry.
Transferable Skills: Developed skills in public relations, communication, cooperation, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
