Updates March 18,2008 Thanks a bunch to everyone who adopted a tag, prayed and sent positive thoughts our way. Its hard to deal with, and will be for a long time, but as of 8:10 on March 18,2008 My mother, Laurie, aka "Lala" passed away.I thank all of you for your support and warm wishes. The Lala Project what is it?- This area of the site is dedicated to my mom, who was diagnosed with Lung cancer last year. A Large part of my life is dedicated to seeing that she makes it through this, and to help her fight this, and thats why I made The Lala Project. Love and Lung Cancer Awareness. Why isnt it Lalca? because "Lala" is what my little cousin Taylor called my mother because she couldnt pronounce "Laurie" when she was a baby. her younger brother started calling her that and soon thereafter my whole family adopted it as her nickname. here you'll find updates on her health, and hear what i have to say about everything thats going on. Pixels, adoptions, gifts and other forms of support are to be found here as well. A big part of Lala is the support. Just like the support the Breast cancer society and community receive from the public, I believe other medical societies and communities should receive as well, which is why I started Lala.
