Hello. My name is Rafe Aalderink. I'm glad you've found my page.

I play the Great Highland Bagpipes and I'm available to play for weddings, funerals, parties, celebrations, fund raisers, memorials, or whatever occasion you have where you'd like to have the dramatic sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe - a sound that stirs the soul and gets the heart pumping.

I've played both the side drum and the bagpipes in bands in Michigan, Texas, and Oklahoma, and competed in Grade IV in  trio, quartet and band events  and in grades IV, III and II in solo at Highland Games and festivals in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Kentucky.

I've played in parades, memorial services, Burn's Nights, private parties, weddings, Scouting events, for elementary school programs and other events.

I'll tailor a program of pipe music to your needs, whether it's one tune to add impact to a moment, or a program of melodies to entertain for a longer period.

My name is a difficult one to read without a pronunciation guide, so here it is: Rafe - with a long A like in safe. Aalderink - Like "all drink", but with a little stress on the  "der" .
