RMA Pilot Ranks
Trainee 0-5 hours
Second Officer 5-10 hours
First Officer 10-20 hours
Captain 20-50 hours
Senior Captain over 50 hours
Pilots with a minimum of 10 hours' worth of verifiable experience on other VA's will be hired as Second Officers; pilots with a minimum of 20 hours verifiable experience on other VA's will be hired as First Officers. A pilot's rank does not limit them to what aircraft that they may fly within our fleet, unlike other VA's. When we move passenger operations to fly-va, the rank structure will change, but pilots will have their existing rank "grandfathered in." |
