You asked for it, you got it. A native Californian, I migrated to Arizona as the bombs began to fall half a world away in early 1991. The desert feels more like home.
Music has been in my conscious thought for all but the earliest five of my forty-plus years. I claim proficiency on over a dozen musical instruments, but am really only comfortable on perhaps 2: bass guitar and clarinet, an unlikely pairing. Original thought and composition are constantly striven for in the musical and literary arenas. Can't say much about the day job, since it is evolving.
As for the personal stuff, I am once-married, now divorced, childless, and somehow still hoping that love will find me.
Other interests besides music include travel (23 countries, 5 continents and counting; I also fly MS Flight Simulator in re-enactments of my own adventures as well as in a few virtual airlines), history (as is evidenced by my fascination with the Zodiac case), and the sports of golf and hockey in all of their forms. I am also an avid college football fan (Go Blue!). Message boards inhabited include the bass-related (screen name plankspanker13), flight-sim and cybergolf-related, and the literary (screen names Lord Hearteater, Cap'n H or phattwood8). |
