Planet X performed today at Rejobi in Auburn, CA- which was Broadcast Live over the Web by ExtremeAudio.Com. We also had a simultaneous Chat setup to allow people on the web to communicate with the band during the broadcast. Most of Mitch's family showed up as well as Ron little brother (who was on the web). The show lasted for tour hours, hosted by our friend Eric Chun from Rejobi. We played for at least an hour and a half of that and did nearly every song from our CD, some of which we haven't done in quite a while like "Silent Rage", "Don't Turn Back" and "Endless Night". Naturally, there were technical difficulties - Darryl broke a string on the first song. But we ironed those problems out - he's learned the art of the on-the-fly guitar change pretty well.

It a great show for us, our third in three consequtive days, even though we expected even more people than we had especially with radio coverage on KAHI 950 AM, a full-spread article in the Auburn Journal and the full court Internet and AOL Press (On Metal Edge and various Message boards and Newsgroups) that I had been doing over the last couple weeks. Quite a few friends showed - like members of Verbal Lock and Sean from Karousel. It was cool and a lot of fun. Eric interviewed us for part of the show, we had a lots of silly stuff like a mini-trivia contest - with the prize being copies of our Cd. We had two camera video-ing the show. One was stationary and sent a feed directly over the web, the other taped the show for later and once we get a chance we'll have that available for archived viewing via the ExtremeAudio.com website. We also took lots and lots of pictures - which we'll add to this starlog entry as well as the photo section of our Fan club Site at a later date.

Now...you too, can see just how silly we get while singing these songs about Suicide, Capitol punishment and Gun violence. (Hey -- life has it's dark side and it's lighter side - you have to acknowledge them both or else your kidding yourself, right?)
