More... SITES FOR SORE EYES
"Phew, better get this links page finished on time or PLANET MORON will be a laughing stock!"
"Well, there's a first time for everything!" (drum roll, cymbal)
Okay, time has moved on since our first Links page (which is ancient) and now we have a whole new bunch of sites we feel able to recommend to you.

And not just, for instance, a handy page we can visit all the time when we can't be bothered to type our favourite links into the address bar.

PLANET MORON
TICKLE MY LINKY BITS
Okay, this is Woodsey here, and instead of the bullet points of the first Links page, here we have a more text-based service. And once again, we're not responsible for the content of these external sites...

First up, some more cartoons to peruse.
KEENSPOT is a company founded by two guys, Chris and Darren, in 2000. Dedicated to publishing the finest webcomics available, they've even managed to open their own shops in America making them far more ambitious than me and Paul. I found the best one to be Bobbins, which is now
sadly finished but available online in an archive format. The artist in question, John Allison, has since moved on to his next project, Scarygoround, which is similar in feel (even utilising some of the same characters) if a little darker. The best thing about it though is it's all British...

A less dark, but perhaps more offensive, comic is My New Fighting Technique Is Unstoppable, a very strange selection of office/karate clipart images where the inhabitants swear their jaws off and talk like South Central gangsters. Karate Snoopy is to be feared.

In 1996, Danny Baker finished off his Radio 1 show by saying "This has been the most entertaining three years of your lives!" which while not particularly accurate, is typically charismatic of the former NME writer. Danny Baker's Internet Treehouse archives all the funny callers he took on not only his 1FM show, but every other station he's worked on. And the stories are usually all hysterically funny, despite everyone talking at once, that is.

Considering how long ago 1996 is, you'd think I'd be trying my hardest not to get involved with anything that makes me feel old. So why am I recommending a Radio 2 DJs personal site? The tricky bit is that
Bob Harris puts up his playlists BEFORE he presents the show they relate to... I'm not condoning taping off the radio, but... okay, yes I am.

Not many people know just how rrrockharrrd I am. That's because I base all my decisions on Jack Bauer from 24, which is uniformly excellent. For more info on 24, try the Sky One site, or perhaps 24-UK which was good but isn't currently updated despite how much they declare it is. A bit like PLANET MORON, really.

Also, I can't believe I haven't recommended the Internet Movie Database on here yet. Most recent things I have done include checking the height of Patrick Stewart and finding out how old Terry Jones is.

And, succumbing to visitor demand, we present a link to ubiquitous Guestbook author Sarah's very own website, containing a fantastic stream-of-consciousness diary thing that's impossible to read without feeling happy. And it keeps changing its heading rendering every effort I make to annotate it here obsolete.

That will do for now - more informationsuperhighway pleasures will appear here as soon as they're discovered by the community of PLANET MORON.

And here's a link back to the
Entertainment Index.
