On Saturday, 24th August, the senior jazz troupe from K&V Sutherland, performed Miss Jade's "Proud Mary" in the City of Sydney Eisteddfod. Competing against 66 other dance troupes from all over Australia, the seniors were selected as one of the six finalists to appear at The Sydney Opera House.
To acchieve such an honour, in what is recognised as THE most prestigious competition in Australia speaks volumes for the techinque taught at K&V, the dedication and enthusiasm of our students, and the fabulous, innovative, choreograpghic skills of Miss Jade.
The final is to be held in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, 22nd September - please try to attend and give these wonderful dancers both your vocal and moral support - I promise you will have a fantastic night's entertainment and won't be disappointed. |
