| 11-29-04: Talk around the water cooler has centered around the amazing turnaround victory of the UH football team on Saturday. After Northwestern started off with a quick touchdown early in the game, I wasn't sure about UH's chances of winning. After Tim Chang was rammed into the sidelines, the game turned around and became interesting. Owens and Peters had some outstanding plays and I wish I had braved the rains and been at the stadium. The beauty of watching tv is you get to see the replays and hear the commentary. Thus, we saw the punt return touchdown many times as well as the final interception catch which pretty much nailed the game for the Warriors. Let's hope this carries into next week against Michigan... 11-16-04: I would like to live somewhere with a view of a valley... just like the one from the Pali lookout, which is inspiring, but scary when the winds whip furiously and threatens to blow everyone away. 11-05-04: The falling rain has become a constant problem driving around Honolulu. It became painfully obvious after sitting in the parking lot on Piikoi that I should just park the car somewhere and wait out the unhappy weather. |
