10-28-04:  Wow, two weeks have flown by and I've become very attached to the MJ412.  This simple tool shoots a stream of water into the big puka in my gums and washes out the food which gets lodged into space where my wisdom tooth once was.  I've got to be patient and wait another eight weeks for the gums to totally heal... On to much more exciting news:  Ozomatli is going to be here in two days!  I know that listeners are just as happy as I am and I had a lot of fun giving away tickets last Sunday. They say the show may sell out, so don't delay if you haven't gotten you ticket to the show.  It's funny how after a drought of having nothing to do, I now have too many things to do.  HIFF is in town, a lot of dinners to attend, and concerts galore.  Stomp is next on the list.

10-14-04:
Dr. Arakawa novocained my gums and drilled into two wisdom teeth before cracking and extracting them.  It has been a blur of a week, and my diet of soft foods has done nothing but given me a stronger appreciation for solid food.  I didn't realize how much I missed chewing until I was staring at a stranger munching happily at a sandwich... thankfully my recovery has been swift and the swelling has gone down and I can actually smile again.  I'm not sure when I'll be saying adios to rice gruel and tofu, but the follow-up visit happens tomorrow and I should have a clean bill of health.

10-05-04:
Radiothon 2004 continues and the energy level at KTUH continues in high gear.  I was manning the donation line last night and it's a great feeling knowing that the listening public is supporting the station.   Sunday night was successful with genrous listeners donating to the cause.   DJ Dora and Sassmo were great as they helped inspire listeners to call.  Thanks to everyone for supporting the station and the goal will be attained turning College Radio into an Island-wide commodity.

10-03-04:
It's October!  Friday's benefit at Indigo was full of faces new and old.  I hope you enjoyed all the different DJs who volunteered their time to spin.  My evening started outside on the corner across from the ARTS at Mark's Garage.  I was there along with Alex, Luis, and Jaren, asking strangers if they'd registered to vote.  I actually stayed around and got to see two great live local bands and now I've experienced the band that Dora loves (yes, I saw Linus the band.)  Woke up extra early to visit Angel's Junkyard show...  I got to the station around 8:40, I am so NOT a morning person.
