05-23-03: I'm fascinated by the different places that the playlists are getting accessed from.  The tracking system on the pages are pretty neat because they indicate which search engines were used to access them...I've seen Google pages in Danish, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese...just dreaming of seeing Cinque Terra and bringing home copies of Festivalbar and blue bottles.  Enjoy your summer vacation...you've earned it.

05-16-03: Give me a twenty and most of it goes to the music store...math was never my strong point, and budgets cease to exist whenever I am in the vicinity of vinyl and compact discs.  Which reminds me, the semi-annual Almost New Music Sale will be held at Ward Warehouse in June...so if you're like me, keep dropping your quarters in the piggy banks and get ready to go wild in a couple of weeks.  I was estatic to find Pale Movie's Nowhere Girl...I've been searching for this album for a long, long time.

05-09-03: Robert has handed me a copy of The Soundtrack of Our Lives.  I never would have guessed that these guys are from Sweden.  I'll be playing track #9 because it is the most melodic and is very Byrdesque.  Nothing exciting has been happening...I wonder what Campus Center must be like right now with the director and Kelly Hu, part of the X-men cast, being there.  Tan Dun is in town too...bumming because both of his shows are on days that I'm unable to get tickets for...I've been trying to get a copy of the Sony Classical soundtrack of the movie Hero, directed by Zhang Yi-mou, so far no luck and it has turned out to be very elusive on this rock we live on.  Ma! Mu qin jie kuai le!  Have a great weekend.

05-05-03: Okay, so You're Still You created a stir, but not in a good way, and I really meant to play Cinema Paradiso (Se) by Josh Groban who has a great voice...I count on feedback, and now I know where the line is drawn...my finger will be given a time out the next time it pushes the wrong button.  For the past few weeks, I've been battling with the air room machines and I'm scoring zilch.  My tape was held hostage and I still do not know where it is...there were mechanical blips...my favorite Sorten Muld CD was rejected...at least the microphones are working.  Classes are over, finals week is coming up...oh boy.
