It is made with the Playerworlds engine (http://www.playerworlds.com/) Almost instantly, POG grew from 1 map to over 50. Than, October 27 all servers went down. In that time, POG grew to over 250 maps. On February 29, 2004 POG's servers were restored, and Plains of Gaurdia lasted until August 2005. when the Tales of Neo Gaurdia, a sequel game, started production. During November 2005, the Open Beta of Tales of Neo Gaurdia is open for everyone to enjoy! Continents: Gaurdia: Gaurdia is the continent that appeared in "Plains of Gaurdia," the first game. Right now, only the first town is done but it is playable. It is reccomended if you are a beta tester, you would want to stat out here. The head gamemaster is Zeal. Gera'ld: This world is unplayable as of now, and only has a few things done with it. The head gamemaster is T800. Kraken: Kraken is the 2nd fullest continent as of now. The head gamemaster is Demonicus. Gods of Gaurdia: Shandi: God of war. Shandi is obssessed with power and will do anything to obtain it. He created a perfect army, the Heavy Blades, only to find them revolt against them because of their "will." Now Shandi is working on a new, heartless force, based on the dark arts of UnDeath. Heiki: God of peace. Heiki is a peaceful god that allows Gaurdia to drift away from the heavens. Provides Gaurdia with food, rain, and light. Recently, a cult was started by a man named of Hellscream claiming that Heiki told him to attack Berlin. However, this doesnt sound like the works of Heiki... Rashi: God of fire. Many say, including believers of Shandi and Heiki, say that Rashi is a false god. There is little evidence of even his existance. While some may argue that he spawned the Red Chocobo, others say it was Shandi that created both the Black and Red Chocobo. Kramzi: God of the new. Kramzi built Marcusland with his bare hands. Some people say he also told the Berlin Inventors to build the Time Machine and Cyborg. Destini: God of destiny. He created Destiny's Dream to split the waves of fate between Marcusland and Gaurdia. He now recides in Destiny's Dream known as Delgotten. Bystrudani: God of trickery. Legend has it he has a secret mirage castle somewhere that is really over the very fabrics of life itself! He uses it to trick people into coming in when really..., they never come out. Gaurdi: God of Gaurdia. Raised the town of Gaurdia and the whole Gaurdia continent with his bare hands. Heralded as the greatest of all the gods, he probally is. Gamemaster Guide This guide is mainly for the gamemasters, however, can be used by the players as well to determine what gamemasters CAN and CANNOT do. Without further ado, the guide. What is a gamemaster? A gamemaster is a friendly game developer. They have many roles, such as greeting and helping newer players though making new and exciting monsters, items, and dungeons. For a full list of the game's gamemasters, you may look it up on this page under the "Other Info" section. How do I become a gamemaster? Gamemasters are chosen, in otherwords, we'll ask you. Also note once accepted we will be testing your mapping skills as a Trainee gamemaster first. As of now we have no need for additional gamemasters. What can a gamemaster do and not do? Gamemasters can: Warp you if you are stuck; Build houses for you if you own the correct deed; Build guilds for you if you have the correct deed; create new Non-Cheap areas. Gamemasters cannot: Give anyone free stuff; be biased; create public cheap places; contridict me (Gamemaster Zeal); Create weapons/armor without my approval. I am a gamemaster and wish to create a new weapon/armor. What must I do? Simply talk to me, Gamemaster Zeal on AIM (thekillernacho) or my email [email protected] . I will usually allow it, but you must tell me so I may add your equipment to this page. What are the formulas all gamemasters must use? These formulas are to be followed no matter what. Monster EXP Formula: Exp=7(Str+Def)+2(Hp) Weapons/Armor: All weapons are armor are to have a [x] at the end of it, x being the weapon/armor's strength. House Monsters: House monsters must use this formula : str=x, def=x, hp=2x House shops: equipstr*4=price What is the policy on Player Houses and Clans? When the player has the needed Deeds, gamemasters may create thier house / add to their house. But here are some restrictions: Banned NPCs-- Exp Man, Exp Man 2.0, Exp Hitler, Scorpions, and Fireballs are BANNED from use in houses. Aka, you cannot have these monsters in houses. End of story. Created NPCs-- The NPCs for houses must be run off the EXP formula and furthermore must use the formula above. NO EXCEPTIONs! Restrictions-- No more then 10 rooms for houses, and no more then 20 for Guildhalls. There is an unlimited ammount of NPC Placement, but you may only have 5 Created NPCs... but you can use as many of those 5 as you want. No items lying on ground!! 1 shop per house. Shops- Personal shops come with NPCs if you want, only one shop per house. For free, your shop holds short swords, leather armor, leather helm, and wooden shield. However, if you give 20 of an item to a GM, the GM is permitted to add that item to your shop using the formula above. (For example, if you give a GM 20 Rapiers they can put a Rapier in your shop for 20 gold) And of course you can remove stuff from your shop from a simple request. Note that you can only have EQUIPMENT in your shop, nothing else. My question wasnt answered here! What can I do? If you are a gamemaster wondering what you can and cannot do, get a hold of Gamemaster Zeal on either AIM (thekillernacho) or email ([email protected]) BEFORE YOU DO IT and I will not only answer your question but put it here for future reference. Please dont hesitate to ask! |
