Some Frequntly Asked Questions
Is
this true, can I really get paid for surfing the net?
Yes. Many companies give people money for the time they spend
browsing the internet. Most pay with money, there are a few that
award point that you can buy things with.
Well,
what are these companies all about?
Most of the companies pay people to surf the net. (With some you
don't even need to be activly surfing. )They also pay people to
refer people to them. They make their money from the advertisers,
and they pass it on to the people who view their ads.
So how
do I make money?
All you need to do is sign up and register with the each company.
Then you download a browser that displays the ads. Occasioanly
take a look at the ads (but if you don't who will know.) When you
are online, the browser calculates the time you surf the net and
give the information to the companies. They pay an hourly fee for
the time you spend online, as well as the time your direct
referals (such as friends and family) spend online.
(Note: Some of the companies require you to click on a banner
once in a while. Most don't though. Please check each company you
want to sign up for to review their policy)
Do I
get paid when my referals refer people?
With almost all of the companies, yes. On average, most companies
give you money for 4 levels of referals. Of coure, some have more
levels and some have less. Each individual company varries so
check each one to find out their referal system.
This
is great but how much does it cost?
It is all free!!! That's right, all of the sites here don't
charge anything to sign up or to download their browser. There
may be some sites that charge a fee, but I have not included any
of their on my links site. The best part is that there is no
risk. JIf you don't like it, just don't open the browser, or you
can even cancel your membership at anytime. I'm not sure why you
would want to, but if you do, it's fine.
So is
this like a pyramid scheme?
Not really. In most pyramid schemes you pay money to start up and
you make money when people buy things. Your referals also pay a
fee and they must also sell things. With these companies all you
do is use the browser when you surf the net and refer pople to
sign up who are interested in doing the same. This can add up to
a lot of money, but you don't have to invest anything. With most
of them, you don't have to visit different sites andyou don't
have to use a different browser or internet service provider. For
all of them, you don't have to spend any money or buy anything
and you don't have to attend meetings every Tuesday night. It's
just a cool little application that sits on your computer,
counting your money as you surf the web...that's all.
So how
much can I make?
Each company's pay scale is different so be sure to check how
much each one pays. The great part is you invest nothing and the
money to be made is endless. You are only limited by the amount
of ambition you have to get referals. I have heard of a person
that has over 12 thousand referals and makes about $14 thousand
each month. Most of the people who do this will not make that
much. But it is possible. Then there are people who only get
about $20 every 2 months. The pay all depends on how many
referals you get, because there is only so much time you can
spend online. It's all up to you how much you want to make.
Well
that is great, but what if I don't want to refer anybody?
That's fine. There is no requirement to refer anybody to any of
these companies, but you can only be online for so many hours.
With your referals, you can double or triple your profits very
quickly.
So why
don't I just SPAM people to get referals?
None of these companies allow their members to SPAM. If you are
caught SPAMing you can be kicked out of their membership files
and forfeit all the money you have earned. It is also against the
law to SPAM people, and plus don't you hate it when people do
that to you. I seriously hope you have more common sense to do
that.
Who
can I refer then?
You can tell all your friends and family and anyone you know that
may be interested in making some easy money.
What
is the best way to get referals?
You can make a page like this one with all of your links on it.
You can draw traffic to your site with some of the traffic
builder sites also listed on my page. This can really help,
because you provide people with a one stop place for all their
money links. It is very convinient because they don't have to
search many differnt sites for links to good ones.
This
sounds too good to be true, what is the catch?
There is no catch. Just do what you normally would be doing.
I
don't spend much time online, is that a problem?
No, not at all. you just get paid for the time that you do spend
online. If you only spend 2 hours per month, that is fine. You
just won't get paid very much, but you will get paid for
something you do anyway.
Well I
like what I hear. Why isn't everybody involved with this?
Many people are not aware that there are companies that pay
people to do this. When they hear about it, most think it's a
great idea and a very easy way to make money. But there are some
people who just don't want to be bothered with ads. That is fine,
that's just more money for us.
I'm
still skeptical, why haven't I heard of this concept before?
Although the companies make money from advertising, most do not
advertise at all. (None as far as I am aware.) They rely on word
of mouth to spread the word about their business.
I'm
not sure if I want to look at ads all the time?
Most of the time we are already looking at ads. In television,
newspaper, radio, billboards, and so on. These companies pass on
the ad revenue to the consumer who looks at the ad. They don't
have to pay to display the ads so the consumer can make some
money as well. Also there are many other companies that pay you
to do many differnt things. These sites are also listed on my
site and explained further down in this FAQ.
There
are so many sites, which one is the best?
I have tried to place the best sites in the top sites sections.
To me they are very good for different reasons. In my opinion Alladvantage is a good place to start. They are
very reliable and have been around for a long time. The setup
process is very easy. There are some drawbacks though. Since they
have been around for a long time, it may be difficult to get a
lot of referals. They also limit your hours to 25 a month, but
their setup process is very easy and is highly recomended for
people new to the surfing for money companies. After you are
comfortable with the process you may want to use ones with better
payrates.
So can
I sign up for all the companies and use their ad browsers at the
same time to make more money?
In theory it is possible. I'm not sure if that is very smart to
run all the browsers at the same time. My computer is very slow
(Pentium I 133) so it only takes about 4 ad viewers to slow my
computer down a lot. But I do know someone who runs 8 of them all
at the same time without any noticeable change in speed. So, I
guess the answer is you can run as many as you are comfortable
with. If you are doing something that requires you to have every
little second (such as buying or selling on the stock market) you
may not want to open any of the ad viewers and use them only when
every little second doesn't count.
I
signed up, but I cannot download a bar to earn money. Why?
Many companies are still in the beta phase of their program and
their bars ahve not been released. It is still a good idea to
sign up with them because these are new companies that many
people are not aware of. It may be easier to get referals to
these companies, than the bigger one's that have been a round for
a while.
I have
heard there are programs made to cheat, or make it appear as
though you are activly browsing?
Yes there are. I do not use any, because not only is it
fraudulant, but I also feel a little guilty. I do not where any
of these programs are located, or available from.
I
spent time online with these programs active, but I have not
recieved a check. Why is this?
Many of the companies wait for you to accumulate a certain amount
of money before they send a check. Most are around $20 a month.
If you do not accumulate enough money, your balance will roll
over to the next month. Please check with each site about their
policy on this because, each one is different.
You mentioned
there are other ways to make easy money on the internet?
Yes. There are many different ways to make easy money online. My
site also has links to similar companies that pay people to read
email, play games, simply go to their website or many other fun
and easy tasks. They also award you when you refer people. All
the links on my site are for free companies so again, you pay
nothing. Most of them have similar policies regarding payment,
and SPAM. Check the companies out, their payments vary.
So why are you
giving me all this great information?
Well, in case you missed it above, you get paid when you
refer people. My goal is to refer as many people to these sites.
Not only will it benefit you when you get paid, but I get a paid
also. But I only get paid when you do, so the more money you
make, the more I do. In short everyone wins. (Remember when you
refer people, use your id number and not mine. This way you will
also get credit.)
How did you
find out about this sort of thing?
I was watching CNBC and seen a news story on people who are
making a lot of money from this. I was amazed that people were
'giving away' money for something that I did anyway. I thought it
was a great idea, but unfrtunatly I forgot to write down the
site's address. I was asking around in chatrooms to find the name
of the company and the adddress. Someone gave me the name of
AllAdvantage. I signed up and when I realized there was a lot
more money to be made from just surfing the net, I decided to
tell a few people. In chatrooms, people gave links to their sites
that had links to many more sites than AllAdvantge. I compiled
all the lists from all the sites and made my own page. My goal is
to always have the most complete list so I am always looking for
companies to add. Keep coming back, because I am adding new sites
all the time. And best of all, every site I add is free.
