{Randomly paralyse target} and deals great damage

            Nidorino, Lapras, Poliwhirl

(7)  TM10 Double Edge - Found in Game Corner

        {Hit recoil}

            Venonat, Chansey

(8)  TM11 Bubble Beam - Found in Cerulean Gym

        {Randomly decrease target's speed}

It looks cool and quite powerful too

Use this if bubble is your only water attack or you dont even have bubble

            Squirtle, Staryu, Horsea... lots more

(8)  TM13 Ice Beam - Found in Celadon Mega Mart

{randomly freeze target} Big damage against flying, rock and dragon Pokémon

            Dewgong, Articuno

(9)  TM14 Blizzard - Found on Cinnabar Island

{randomly freeze target} Even better damage than ice beam but only 5 pp's and less accurate

            Articuno, Lapras

(9)  TM15 Hyper Beam - Buy at Celadon game corner

{takes 1 turn to recharge after use} but opponent would probably have fainted already

            Gyarados, Dragonair

(9)  TM16 Pay Day - Found along Route 12

Target drops money and the winner of the battle gets the money.

Amount of money dropped is 2x the Pokémon lvl

            Meowth

(6)  TM17 Submission - Found on Victory Road

        {hit recoil} Quite powerful

            Machoke

(6)  TM19 Seismic Toss - Found along Route 25

More powerful than a tackle but not quite powerful enough

            Machop

(1)  TM20 Rage - Found along Route 15

{Automatic} Attack rises everytime enemy hits you, lasts until end of battle. Imagine using only 'tackle' until either your Pokémon or the opponent faints.

            Charmander, Tauros

(10) TM21 Mega Drain - Found in Celadon Gym

The name says it, half of the damage dealt goes to heal your HP

        Great damage, looks cool too.

            Gyarados, Dragonair

(10) TM24 Thunderbolt - Found in the Vermillion City Gym

{randomly paralyse} This move rocks. It's accurate and does excellent damage.

            Pikachu (yellow version only)

(9)  TM25 Thunder - Found in the Power Plant

The most powerful electricity attack but it misses too much. Looks cool!

Zappdos, Jolteon, Nidorino, Nidorina, Electabuzz, Pikachu

(9)  TM26 Earthquake - Found in Silph Co.

Big damage, just dont use it against flying Pokémon

            Diglett

(5)  TM27 Fissure - Found in Viridian City

        {1 hit KO} Poor accuracy

(10) TM28 Dig - Found in Cerulean City

{2 stage attack} You'll go nuts if you dont have this move in a cave.

Outside battle, it is an escape rope, taking you back to the Pokmon centre.

In battle, this move does good damage and you are invulnerable to attacks while digging a hole.

            Diglett

(10) TM29 Psychic - Found in Saffron City

{randomly decrease target's special} The most powerful Psychic attack.

Teach it to a Psychic Pokémon with high 'special' and it'll be unstoppable! (unless opponent is 20 levels higher)

            Mewtwo, Kadabra, Drowzee, Mew

(6)  TM30 Teleport - Found along Route 9

When you use it in battle, it is the same as run, with a high success rate.

Outside battle (except in caves/buildings) it takes you to the last Pokémon centre you visited.

            Abra

(7)  TM31 Mimic - Found in Saffron City

Lets you learn opponent's moves, than the move mimic changes into what ever you decided to learn off the opponent

(1)  TM32 Double Team - Found in Fuchsia City

{modify stats} Makes your evade rise so you are harder to hit. Better to just use sand attack.

            Pikachu, Meowth

(3)  TM33 Reflect - Found in Power Plant

Gives you armour, just like increasing defense

            Eggxecute, Kadabra

(3)  TM34 Bide - Found in Pewter City Gym

You let the opponent hit you for a few straight goes and if you are still alive,

you give back 2x the damage inflicted to you during those few goes. Teach it to a Pokémon with high HP.

(8)  TM35 Metronome - Found on Cinnabar Island

It makes your Pokémon use a random move. Yes you can get one you dont like but it's fun to use.

            Clefairy, Mew

(4)  TM36 Self Destruct - Found at Silph Co.

{hit recoil} Your Pokémon faints and opponent cops big damage

            Geodude, Voltorb

(1)  TM37 Egg Bomb - Found at Fuchsia City

Deals tiny damage, I dont know what it is good for

(9)  TM38 Fire Blast - Found at Cinnabar Gym

{randomly burns} Most powerful fire attack.

If it had more than its 5 pp's, than I would've given it 10

(9)  TM39 Swift - Found at Route 12 Lookout

{never misses?} Good damage, it hits even when target is digging a hole (dig) or flying high in the sky (fly)!

            Staryu, Pikachu, Voltorb, Sandshrew

(5)  TM40 Skull Bash - Found in Safari Zone

{2 stage attack} The damage it does is not worth the free hit

            Squirtle, Cubone

(8)  TM41 Soft Boiled - Found in Celadon City

Only Chansey can learn this. In battle, it recovers some of Chansey's HP. Outside battle, it lets Chansey give HP to other injuried Pokémon. Since Chansey gets lots of HP, it is quite effective.

(10) TM42 Dream Eater - Found in Viridian City

Only works when target is asleep. It steals (lots of) their HP

            Haunter, Drowzee

(7)  TM43 Sky Attack - Found along Victory Road

{2 stage attack} Most powerful flying attack but it's 2 staged

            Moltres

(9)  TM44 Rest - Found aboard the S.S. Anne

Pokémon sleeps and regains full health & cures all conditions.

Use Pokéflute to wake the Pokémon up

            Snorlax, Dewgong

(3)  TM45 Thunder Wave - Found along Route 24

        {paralyse target} accurate

            Pikachu, Dratini, Magnemite

(7)  TM46 Psywave - Found in Saffron Gym

I don’t get this move. It does random damage ranging from 0 to ? but most of the time, it does not deal enough damage to be effective. It says it is a Psychic type attack but it never reads 'super effective' for Pokémon weak against psychic.

(5)  TM47 Explosion - Found along Victory Road

{hit recoil} A more powerful version of self destruct

            Geodude, Voltorb

(7)  TM48 Rock Slide - Found on the Celadon Mega Mart Roof

You lose some HP to create a 'substitute', which takes damage

        for you until it breaks.

            Mr Mime

(2)  HM01 Cut - Found aboard the S.S. Anne

In battle it's a bit more damage than tackle but less accurate

Ouside battle it cuts down the bushes that look like roadsigns

(10) HM02 Fly - Found along Route 16

{2 stage attack} The Pokémon flies, than on its next turn, it hits the target for big damage. While it is flying, it is invulnerable to enemy attacks (except swift).

Outside battle, it teleports you to any town that you have previously been.

(10) HM03 Surf - Found in the Safari Zone

The second most powerful water attack to Hydro Pump.

It is however, more accurate and more pp's than Hydro Pump.

Outside battle, it lets you swim in water.

(3)  HM04 Strength - Found in Fuchsia City

More powerful than a tackle. Outside battle, it lets you move boulders.

(1) HM05 Flash - Found along Route 2

{modify stats} A sand attack with poor accuracy. Outside battle, it lights up rock tunnel so you can see. You only need this for Rock Tunnel so teach it to a 'useless' Pokémon.
