Item duplication Cheat Red & Blue: First, put the item that you want to duplicate in the sixth place in your item list. Then go to Viridian City and talk to the man that shows you how to catch a Pokemon. Let him show you how to catch a Pokemon. Go to Cinnabar Island and surf along the edge back and forth until "missing no." comes out. Battle him and win the match. Afterwards, a little sign comes out in the left of the item and that shows that the item was duplicated-you have over 90 items! They will run out! So, duplicate often. This code will not work fo Yellow. Duplicate Pokemon Red & Blue: You need two game boys and a link cable. Get the pokemon you want to trade and another one you don't want because the one you don't want will get deleted! For example; get a ratta or something easy to catch. Go to the trade center, and trade Pokemon. When the Pokemon you want gets to the other person and is about to "pop" out, turn of the game boy. Simply turn off the game boy then you have a duplicate of the Pokemon you wanted, and the pokemon you didn't want gets deleted. I suggest trying this with "bad" Pokemon before you attempt the real thing. Easy Level Gain: For this to work, you must have Exp. All. To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokemon you want to train with the top Pokemon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokemon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokemon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokemon and the fighting Pokemon will both gain experience points. Extra Damage: While fighting, select your desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack (ex. "Venusaur used Razor Leaf"), hold down the A button until your opponent's life stops draining. If your timing was right you'll do more damage than usual. Celadon City Slot Tip: All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon. Cut Down Grassy Areas: Once you get the HM "cut", your pokemon can cut down grassy areas. Use "cut" and it will cut a two by two area. Wild Pokemon will not attack you in the area you cut. Easy Catch: When catching a pokemon, through the pokeball and press B and down at the same time (2 times),then press down untill you have your pokemon. Get the Mimic TM: Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM. How to easily beat the Gym leaders: To beat Brock, catch a caterpie or metapod in Viridian Forest and evolve it into a Butterfree. Butterfree's confusion attack will work well. To beat Misty, catch an Odish on route 24 (level 14 no less) and raise it on route 25. Also raise your Pikachu. Odish's absorb attack is super effective against Staru and Starmie as well as Pikachu's Thundershock. To beat Lt.Surge, catch a Diglett/Dugtrio in Diglett's Cave and make sure it knows Dig, because it works great, but watch out for Riach Mega kick. To beat Erica, evolve your Carmander into Charmeleon and she doesn't stand much of a chance. To beat Sabrina, use that Diglett you caught hopefully it is now a Dugtrio, it's Dig is super effective. To beat Koga,use Butterfree's Confusion and Sleepowder and watch out for the powerful toxic attacks. To beat Blain, evolve your Squirtle into a Blastoise and use water attacks. As for the quiz: #1 Yes #2 No #3 No #4 No #5 Yes #6 No. How to get two HM's in Fushia City: If you are stumped on where to get the "surf" HM, Here's what you do. It's in Area 3 of the Safari Zone. You will have to get there fast as well. (I used a bike, I suggest you use it if you have it.) If you get into the secret hideaway in area 3, the man will give you the "Surf" HM. The gold teeth item is also in area 3. Give the gold teeth to the owner of the Safari zone and he will give you the "STRENGTH" HM. Use that to move the boulder and claim the item in the owners house. Secret Coins: At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button. |
