Paddlefishing Pictures
My first Paddlefish, 54 lbs. and biggest, snagged by the rostrum!
This is a brief historical documentation of our past 11 years of paddlefishing in North Dakota.  It all started with a last minute idea by Kyle and myself that it would be fun to catch one of these big, prehistoric fish that swim the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers of North Dakota.  Little did we know that it would soon become an addiction.  Over time our little group of two grew and changed many times.  We have had groups as large as 7 and as small as just Kyle and I again one year.  These annual trips have brought and produce many many memeories that I am sure we won't forget, even though a few of them we probably would rather forget, right Kyle?
Kyle's 1st, 28#, taken in 1996.  He got a little ribbing over such a small fish.
The ribbing didn't last long though, In 1998 he connected on this 72 pound Whopper Club Canidate.  Good Job!
Bills first fish, weighing in at 27 pounds
and caught in 1997
The fun chore of gaffing a fish, why is it the only non-swimmer always gets this job!!!!!!
