| MANGA | ||||||||||||
| The Rurouni Kenshin Manga was started in 1994, and ran against mega popular titles now long gone such as Dragonball Z, and YuYu Hakusho, and it still held it's own. The manga has never been translated from Japan, but US Monthly Shonen Jump will feature it in full English this year starting in the November issue. The manga is very fast paced and has some of the greatest sword battles ever to grace the pages of Shonen Jump. The manga is stilll in print in Japan and will likely find a credibly large fan base in the US, when it comes here. There are visable differences between the Manga and Anime. (ex. Sanosuke often has a fish bone in his mouth in the manga, but in the anime it is visibly not there) | The Managa may be more graphically intense, as for most of the mature content is filtered out. Acutualy, you can find RK manga in those little Shonen Jump graphic novels so it will be translated there and you can read it right to left. | |||||||||||
