Sega of America announced today the release date for Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Nintendo GameCube. The game will now hit stores in January 2003, featuring an all-new backstory on the main character, Vyse. Skies of Arcadia Legends is a "Director's Cut" of sorts of the original RPG that first appeared on the Sega Dreamcast. Check out the latest screenshots below:
PlanetDreamcast hosted site KOF Cyberfanatics has released another excellent video from its combo series, this time featuring King Of Fighters 2001, which will be released for both the PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast this December in Japan. You can grab the full 123 MB download here.
Three years ago on this day, the Sega Dreamcast hit the US market with some great launch games (Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur, Power Stone). Over its two-year, ill-fated life-span, the Dreamcast delivered many enjoyable titles and garnered a library numbering well over 250. Today, I'd like to wish a happy birthday to one of my favorite systems, the Sega Dreamcast. Happy third birthday, Dreamcast!
