The Plains Jr. Woman's Club takes pride in presenting the best taste in Plains. We have combined the food favorites of Plains and the surrounding area - - all you add is love and a kitchen. The contributors do not claim that all recipes are original, but are old favorites and have been used with great success.

Since peanuts play an important role in our community, we have included some recipes using the Plains "goober."

While all of our cookbooks offer Carter recipes, in the Plains Potpourri cookbook, we offer a special section of "Carter Family" recipes.

Each member of the Plains Jr. Woman's Club has added a personal touch to this cookbook - - we appreciate each person who has contributed in her own special way. Many people exhibited their time, talent and love to make this project a success.
