| The first big signings of the season are in and it looks like the Capitals and the Sharks have both showed they are looking to improve their teams. |
| Leetch was first as he joins the Sharks for a two year, 5.5M per season contract to help boost the blueline of the Sharks. Looks like GM Smith is looking for the veteran leadership of the savy vet to help lead his young team in the playoffs. Next up was Bondra, in what was a somewhat surprising signing goes back to the Caps for one more season, the most surprising part of it was that he managed to rack up 8M per season. Seems like the Caps want to give their young stud Ovechkin some help up front. Later this week we will see where the rest of the UFA sign. |
