Dr.P.James
Daniel Paul is the Economist of Murugappa group. He is also a consultant to
World Bank. He is a member of the
Health, Education, Economic affairs and Taxation Sub-committee of CII-Southern
Region. His doctoral dissertation was on "Intergenerational Transfers and
lifetime income.” He has written a number of articles & Books and presented
papers at many national & international conferences including a conference
at University of California on Transition of Global Ethics. After his Ph.D, he
taught Economics to management and engineering students and has guided many
postgraduate, M.Phil and Ph.D dissertations. Further, he has lectured to
corporates in UK on database migration. He has also been the Economist at NIPFP
(National Institute of Public Finance & Policy), under the Ministry of
Finance. There he developed software
for a database on tariff bindings in India and SAARC countries. He has also
been the Economist of CII representing Industry issues at many forums.
