On Land Policy While participating in the development forum discussions of the World Bank on land policy, ten contributions focusing on land policy reforms in India and related issues have been accepted by the forum moderators and posted in the World Bank website On Agricultural Trade and the World
Trade Organization 10 other articles were
accepted in another e-conference on the agricultural trade and WTO. These
pertained to the interest of the rural India. The accepted articles are
available on the World Bank website On Land Policy Over 31 articles have been accepted by the World
Bank discussion forum moderators during the e-discussions focusing on ethics.

Cost Benefit Analysis of the Water supply project. – This study was undertaken to evaluate the benefits of Social
expenditure on a water supply project in Coimbatore district. n
Allocation of time of Rural Women in Coimbatore – This study was conducted to understand the intra household
allocation of time by women in rural households. The study indicated that in
households where there were higher market participation of women, The
household allocation of resources were higher to children’s education. But in
households where there was lesser participation of women in the market, there
the allocation of time to children were higher but that did not ensure higher
levels of education. n
“Intergenerational Transfers and Life time taxable capacity” – This project was also based on the household economics
attempting to understand the intergenerational allocation of resources across
gender and its implication on the
