Corey shields himself and Lanis from the flames, just as the motorcycle explodes. Looking up towards his two companios, Karma and Fallout, he suddenly saw a strange shadow within their eyes, almsot as if their eyes had black paint spilled within them, almost as if, they really weren't seeing out of their own eyes. . .

"Lanis! I don't think it's really them doing this!" Corey cries, putting his hands to his head. He searched his thoughts for an attack he knew that would at least disable the two, if not actually harm them. "Lanis, use the energy web as soon as I take them down!  Psi-Force!" cries Corey, sending forth small bursts of psionic energy to overload the thoughts of the two. Suddenly, Corey stumbled, his leg fell straight into the ground, and suddenly, the earth around his leg compacted, shifting to hold him tight.
Lanis leapt forward towards the two, and suddenly slammed into a solidified wall of air. Fallout was making perfect use of his powers of molecules, and he had already stopped Coreys attack and Lanis' maneuver. Dodging to the right, Lanis raised his arm to fire and energy web, but suddenly, the gun jammed. Karma was staring directly at him. She had affected the probability of the web trouble, and had ruined his shot. Suddenly, Karma screamed in pain, and her eyes glazed over. She fell to the ground.
Looking to his left, Lanis watched as Corey exploded from the ground, his mental powers aided by the desperation to stop these two from harming himself or Lanis. He had mentally wiped the brain of Karma, blocking her thoughts from existance. Fallout was now easy kill. Raising his concussion missiles, Lanis let loose three rockets to take care of Fallout. Mentally guiding the missiles, Corey was able to bypass the molecular adustments Fallout made to protect himself and the missiles knocked out the young man, dropping him to the ground.

Synista and Morgan walked through the city, hoping to find a shopping center. Above flew Andrea, while Mateo jumped from rooftop to rooftop, searching for a fight. The group traveled at a slow pace, people constantly pushing past, when suddenly, they found themselves in the slums, a horrid portion of town where security was lowest and crime was highest. Out of the shadows leapt a man, holding a strange looking handgun. It was painted blue.

"Hold! Move and I'll shoot. Both of you, give me your money, and you can walk away. If you fail to cooperate, you'll be sorry. Very sorry." said the man, cocking the weapon. Taking advantage of the man's center of attention, Andrea flew from the sky and kicked his shoulder, causing him to fire the weapon wildy, totally missing. Synista instantly began her chant, calling upon her spirits of influence to place the man within a deep sleep. Morgan, acknowlaging the time it would take to finish her spell, used her power to animate the matter around the man's feet before he shot at Synista. A huge fist of granite wrapped around the man's leg, grasping him and holding him to the floor. The man screamed in fear, firing his gun at the rock, not doing much. Suddenly, Mateyo leapt from a building, landing on his feet, and rolling with the impact. He raced forward and kneed Morgan in the stomach.

"Mateyo! What are you doing? He's the one who was trying to kill us!" cries Andrea, flying into the boy, knocking him off his feet. He suddenly looked startled, as if he truly believed that Viris was the cause of the trouble. Suddenly, another shot was fired, and the rock around the man's leg crumbled. Viris fell to the ground, just as soon as Synista cried out the last portion of the spell and the man fell on his back, asleep.

Evan slowly walked into the school gates, trudging up to the office, he entered and walked up to the receptionist. He handed her his administration card, and she looked at her computer. After a few minutes, she printed out a schedule and handed him the piece of paper. Suddenly, the doors burst open and a large young man, who looked like he was about twenty years old, came rushing into the office, carrying the body of a girl, a bit older than Evan himself. She was unconscious. Behind them followed two boys and two girls, all seemingly as old as Evan himself. There was some quick yelling and rushing around, and suddenly, Evan found himself standing alone in the office, everyone else had rushed into the nurse's office.
Sighing to himself, Evan walked out of the office and walked towards the dorms, when suddenly, someone grabbed his shoulder. Turning around, Evan found himself face to face with one of the boys who entered the office earlier. He had a sympathetic look on his face.

"Are you Evan? Look, I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't notice you walk in. I was supposed to show you your dorm room and classes, but somthing really important came up. Oh, by the way, just because you're a mutant doesn't mean anyone at school will think any differently of you. Really, don't worry." said Corey, smiling to the boy. The two walked to the dorm rooms, where Corey showed Evan to his room and where his things would be kept. "Oh yeah, by the way, look, I wanted to show you and Andrea somthing something later, maybe Wednesday? It'll be really cool!" Corey told the boy as Evan entered his dorm. Corey turned and walked away, leaving the child to assemble his room.

Lanis walked slowly through the hallway in the school. The shot hadn't been too severe, but had been enough to knock the girl unconscious. Luckilly, Synista was there with a healing spell, but she hadn't been at the experience level to properly use the magic. At least Morgan was in good hands now. The healing powers of the nurse should be able to heal the poor girl. Lanis sighed and looked around. Mateyo had gone to his dorm to sleep. Synista was sitting on a chair with a large, old book in her hands. She seemed to be totally indulged within the book. Corey had taken that new kid, Evan, and Andrea, and gone somewhere. Lanis hadn't gotten all of the information, which was strange, since he usually always kept close watch on Corey.
Suddenly, Lanis felt as if he knew what was happening. He was maybe, loosing control? Maybe his step-father had found a way to counter-act the effects of the cells within his mind, to the point where he would be able to take control of Lanis. In which case, the OutKasts weren't safe. No one was. If the mutant-hunting robot was on the loose, then no one could-----
Lanis' train of thought was suddenly broken. Morgan walked out into the hall, smiling weakly in the dim light. Synista was suddenly up and running, straight into the arms of her god friend. Viris looked pained as the girl hugged her, pressing on the sore spot, but obviously didn't say anything. Lanis stood and walked away.
Viris looked up, seeing a strange look on Lanis' face, but only glimpsing it, as the boy turned and began to trudge to the doors, and outside. She didn't know what to say, other than thank you, but the boy was gone before she could even begin to mouth the words.

The next week, Lanis, Morgan, Synista, and Glitch were on their way to the dorms. They had gone to a swimming meet at a school downtown, and had totally
whooped some ass! As they stepped onto the bus, there was a strange vibration. It soon passed, and the bus began moving. Suddenly, the bus stopped, and the bottom of the bus was ripped out. There was a gaping hole in the center. Four people stepped onto the bus. Each had a strange color to their hair. One had a bright crimson red, one had a wavy azure color, one had a solid brown color, and the last had wild silver streaks. The blue and silver haired ones were girls. The other two were guys.

"Alright, I would like a complete a total submission of you people. Please hand over your money, jewelry, and any other items of value. Oh yes, and anyone tries anything, and ....well..." The man raises his hand and a ball of flame appears. He throws this at one of the seats on the bus, and it explodes into flames.

"I'm sorry, what were you saying? I was too busy noticing how stupid you looked in red." called Morgan, her face locked in anger. She raised her arms, and the metal on the bus leapt from the floor, wrapping around the red-clad man. He began screaming, trying desperately to escape the metallic flame-snuffer. He soon became quiet, having expent most of the oxygen within the container.
The two girls leapt from where they stood, the one with silver hair pointed at the group of four, and the kids went flying. They slammed into the back of the bus, Lanis already attempting to enter his OutKasts coostume.
